Take the "State of CRPS" Survey!!!

Dear WASO Cultural Resources, Partnerships, and Science employees:

If you are a non-supervisory staff person, this message is for you.  If you are a supervisor or confidential employee, this message is provided to you as a courtesy so that you are aware of our communications with staff.

In an effort to address issues of morale, collect information on the efficiency and effectiveness of our programs, and begin the process of bargaining on any changes proposed in the upcoming 2015 reorganization/restructuring, NTEU Chapter 296 (the Union) is conducting a preliminary survey to collect important information on the current state of CRPS for our leadership, including Deputy Director Peggy O’Dell and Director Jon Jarvis.  We believe that in order to discuss any effective change, our leadership must start with an understanding of current conditions.  This is a general survey, but we hope that this will be the first of several more detailed surveys.

This is a brief, 10 question survey and can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/F5N7YDS.

The ten questions are multiple choice.  Two items at the end provide a space where you may provide additional information that clarifies or provides details about your answers, or allows you to make comments or suggestions.  We strongly urge you to complete this survey so your voice is heard on important issues and so that NTEU Chapter 296 can bargain from an informed position.  Please submit your survey responses by Friday, May 2, 2014.

Your anonymous answers will be collected by NTEU Officers and Stewards.   Collecting anonymous comments on behalf of our fellow NPS employees is one of the basic services that Chapter 296 provides to programs throughout WASO.   We’ve done this on a number of occasions previously and always provide both staff and management a written copy of these comments.  The Union will remove any identifying information and collate the responses.  If you do not feel comfortable completing the survey from your work computer, you should forward this e-mail to your home e-mail and complete the survey on your home computer, or copy the link and complete the survey from another computer.  Please let us know if you have any questions about how this process works.
